The Voice for the Left Behind Informing about the realities of Femicide-Affected Children and Families. 

THE REALITY 

Every 10 minutes, a woman is killed. Behind every statistic are 2.5 children and a constellation of family members left navigating a blind spot in the system. They are statistically invisible. They are told they are "bereaved," but that is not what happened. They are Femicide-Affected.

Current systems log the body and close the case. But the trauma ripples outward for decades. Arcy Rosmery is changing this narrative. As a lesbian woman of color and the first daughter of a femicide victim, she has dedicated her latest career chapter to education, informing, and framework building.

THE WORK: LUCY33 Named in honor of her mother, Lucy—who was burnt alive while pregnant by her husband—Arcy’s work treats Lucy’s case as the foundational study for a global movement. Lucy left behind 2.5 children (her two daughters and the unborn child). Arcy grew up in that aftermath. She knows that justice for the victim is impossible without policies for the family.

Arcy has written the playbook on Femicide-Affected Informing. She created the first taxonomy to give this experience a name. She is building the first data set to prove the scale of the issue. She is training the first line of practitioners to recognize and support these families.

DELIVERING

Arcy does not just speak; she equips. Her sessions are designed to shift paradigms for those on the front lines of violence prevention.

• For Schools: She provides the safeguarding tools needed to identify and support the femicide-affected child sitting in the back of the classroom—the one who isn’t just "grieving," but surviving a specific type of erasure.

• For Policymakers: She offers the legislative lens needed to integrate families into national action plans, budgets, and justice reforms.

• For Practitioners: She trains social workers, psychologists, and NGOs to move beyond generic "trauma-informed" care into specific Femicide-Affected Informing.

THE VISION 

This work is just beginning, but the foundation is laid. Arcy is building the theoretical bases for this field to be adopted by every relevant sector globally. The goal is simple: To ensure no child and family is left behind in the data.

She brings an intersectional view to every presentation, weaving her experience in LGBTQ+ rights, migration, and violence prevention into a cohesive call to action. She challenges audiences to stop counting only the dead and start supporting the living who carry the weight of that death.
